AS 400 RPG MAPICS XA Business Systems Analyst (iSeries ERP), is needed for growing company located in Seattle WA. Chosen candidate will provide internal support and consulting business units utilizing Infor  XA as their main ERP. This position will complement the existing XA systems analysis team, providing XA upgrade, implementation, process development and testing, project management and training services and expertise

RESPONSIBILITIES:

      1.       Business and Systems Analyst

      2.       Evaluate current and XA features and capabilities and effectively apply them to business processes.

      3.       Assure that business processes are optimized to the needs of the business; provide integrated processes across functional responsibilities

      4.       Experience with electronic / electro-mechanical manufacturing in commercial or government is preferred

      5.       Monitor XA database integrity and process disciplines to assure timely and accurate information processing

      6.       Coordinate process and system test validation efforts

      7.       Document programming requirements and specifications, coordinate programming tasks with IT technical staff and assist with software validation testing

      8.       One-on-one and classroom / web based user training – will develop training material tailored to the process and user community

      9.       Coordinate efforts through Director, XA Systems Analysis and other internal and external consultants to assure consistent, disciplined process development and deployment of best practices throughout the company’s XA installations.

      1.       Minimum 3 years hands-on experience with XA in a support or user role – preferably in an XA 9.0 or higher manufacturing environment.

      2.       Project management experience and skills – ability to prioritize tasks, focus on critical path elements, lead team of users and developers to achieve end goal.

      3.       Good written and verbal skills

      4.       Strong analytical/problem solving skills required; demonstrated ability to dig into problems at detail level and reconcile system anomalies / problems with supporting data / information

      5.       Understanding of XA databases is required

      6.       Team player – able to originate and exchange ideas for potential solutions, participate in final approach determination, and follow through consistent with team decisions

      7.       Domestic travel required; potential international

      8.       BA or BS in Mathematics, Science, Accounting,  Finance or equivalent experience required

      9.       In depth experience with one or more ERP integrated business systems; implementation experience desirable.

      10.   In depth knowledge of full suite XA application; strong experience with IFM financial suite and knowledge of underlying accounting principles and manufacturing costing systems is highly desirable: concentrated specialties in contract accounting, material planning and scheduling, or shop floor control are a plus

      11.   APICS certified desirable

      12.   IBM iSeries support experience including system printing, query, ad hoc reporting and file manipulation capabilities; programming background desirable.
